EXPERIENCE RECORD MAJOR PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN AS PARTNER IN DELPORT DU PREEZ AND ASSOCIATES FROM 1983 TO THE PRESENT 1996 to 1997 : Design Engineer for electrical systems associated with Phase 2 of the Olifants-Sand Water Transfer Scheme. This included two 33kV/6,6kV substations and two pump stations each with two pumpsets of 1MW each. 1995 to 1996 : Design Engineer for electrical systems associated with Phase 1 of the Olifants-Sand Water Transfer Scheme, including contract administration. This included two temporary pump stations as well as the upgrading of the Olifantspoort Water Treatment Works pump station (1 200kW pumpset). 1995 to 1997: Design and supervision of various projects at Warmbaths Hospital and Matlala Hospital, Northern Province. 1992 to 1994 : Electrical design and supervision for the new Museum of Culture, Pretoria. This included the 11kV substation stand-by generator and Uninteruptible Power Supply System as well as the PABX system. 1990 to 1994 : Electrical design and supervision for the upgrading of the pump station at Ebenezer Dam. This included upgrading of the 33kV/6,6kV substation, provision of two pumpsets each having two pumps in tandem. Special capacitor banks were installed for starting of pumpsets due to a weak supply line. 1988-1990: Electrical design and supervision for the extension of the Phalaborwa Water Board pump station for Foskor. This included upgrading of the 11kV/6,6kV substation and the installation of a pumpset of 1 750kW. 1983 to 1989 : Design engineer for electronic systems for large bank complexes, including automation of large vault doors and grille gates.
