The National Deprtment of Public Works appointed us for the Electronic and data Communication networks for the New Pretoria Campus of the National Library of South Africa. The works include CCTV, Alarm systems, Access Control, Building public address systems, as well as the ICT infrastructure and telephone services. The subcontract services is valued at R 9 800 000. Tenders have been invited and work commenced early in 2005 on the Optical Fibre Electrical Protection and Data communication network for the Satelite Substations for the Electricity Department of the Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality (formerly the Pretoria City Council). Commissioning will be done during 2006. The design of phase 4 of the project had been completed and implementation will be completed in the course of 2007. The project is valued at R 65 000 000. Delportdupreez was appointed in May 2004 as the Project Coordinators forthe initiation phase of the R 2,3 billion VRESAP project. The Employer is the Department of Water Affairs and Forestry and the project will be implemented by TCTA using private sector funding. Design of the project works have commenced and is expected to be copleted by Mid 2005. First water date is set as 31 July 2007 and the project had been classified as an Emergency Scheme. The main users of water from the works will be ESKOM and SASOL (85%). The planned works include a 1900 mm diameter pipeline from Vaal Dam to Secunda with one high lift pump station. Paek delivery will be 173 million cubic metres per annum. |
