Over the years we have designed and implemented a number of river monitoring systems using different technologies.

The Vaal Dam catchment system was based on terrestrial UHF band radio.

Other systems were done using HF SSB, Meteor Scatter long range Radio and Meteosat based radio links (part of the WHYCOS initiative of the WMO).

Parameters monitored includes water level, Tubidity, conductivity, PH and flow rate.
