This spot is home to large sponges, growing in numbers the deeper you go. The light penetration is poor because of the depth in turn making the coral life sparse. It lies on the eastern side and is a fairly flat part of the reef. One can get the idea that you are drifting over a lunar landscape when visiting this spot. Sponge reef is also home to the memorial gravestone for Rehan Bouwer. Be sure to ask your dive operator more about this spot. |

This location is on the northern side of Two mile reef. The reef is fairly flat but still delivers a relaxing dive. The coral life is less than the rest of 2 mile but a variety of fish life makes it a worthwhile dive. |
