    How to choose a regulator:

Recommended is a high performance regulator which is able to deliver air comfortable even in demanding situations. For example when your cylinder is at 50 bar at a depth of 50m(not supposed to happen). Most of the high performing regulators have one or two diver controlled adjustments on the second stage to give the regulator more individualised performance. The regulator must sit comfortably and the lighter the regulator the smaller your chance for jaw fatigue is. To increase comfort, customised mouthpieces can be made or a multi directional swivel can be attached at your second stage.

Cyklon Metal

Second Stage

The Cyklon metal features a lightweight impact resistant aluminium housing in stead of the ASA plastic (extremely durable and lightweight) on the Cyklon 5000 Octo.  The Cyklon has been around for over 40 years and holds the record for the deepest dive ever done.  Side ventilation helps divert the bubbles away from the divers vision which ensure a more comfortable dive.  The diaphragms is well protected and requires little maintenance if the regulator is washed properly after each dive.  A wide bore mouthpiece ensures smooth and comfortable breathing.  The Cyklon requires some amount of effort to inhale which will fall into the liking of divers who like to save on there inhaling but unfortunately not for those who want air with the least amount of effort.
